As part of efforts to ensure timely delivery of the project, contractor handling the construction of Babatunde Bakare, Edatomola Ogundipe and Halima streets in Epe Local Government, have started the asphalt laying of the link roads.
Senior Legislative Aide to Rep. Wale Raji on Special Duties and Projects, Otunba Wale Olusesi said the project which started in August 2023 would be delivered ahead of time. He also hinted that the roads will be fitted with solar powered street lights upon completion.
He allayed the fears of residents of Uraka, Kula Nla and other areas where road construction are currently going on across Epe Federal Constituency. He said Rep. Wale Raji has consistently shown "zero tolerance" for uncompleted projects hence none of the projects he has facilitated so far will be abandoned. He called for continued cooperation and support for the legislator and contractors handling the projects as they will all be completed soon.
