The Member, Federal House of Representatives, representing Epe federal constituency, Rep. Wale Raji has again proved that the reward of a good work is more work as he commissioned a block of 3 classrooms at the UBE Primary School, Imokun, Eredo, Epe, Lagos State.
The event which was held in a low-key today, Wednesday 20th December, 2023 at the premises of the school called for the presence of the party leaders and members across Eredo and Epe areas of the state.
In his keynote speech, the chairman of the occasion, Chief Wasiu Odeyemi (Wastab) gave accolades to Hon. Wale Raji on his continuous accomplishment of projects across Epe division.
Adding that the party, APC has no regret in him representing Epe Federal Constituency and they are highly proud of his performances.
The Executive Chairman, Eredo LCDA, Hon. Monsuru Akinloye also showered encomium on Rep. Wale Raji for his gestures towards giving back to the constituents at all times.
The Eredo council boss who noticed the bad condition of the school dining hall immediately called on the engineer for reconstruction and assured speedy completion of the food hall.
One of the APC Apex leaders, Mrs. Oladolapo Oladunjoye in her words said;
“I was the one who discovered that the school block of classrooms were not enough for the number of pupils in the school”
"And I notified Hon. Wale Raji who without wasting time sprang into action and constructed this block of 3-classrooms which we are commissioning today”.
"There is no doubt in me that our legislator has good listening ears and I give kudos to him”, She commended.
The Education Secretary, Epe Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Otunba Aliu Shittu applauded the educational support of Hon. Wale Raji in Epe division
While speaking with the newsmen, he said;
“This project is one out of the numerous educational support programmes of Rep. Wale Raji”.
“He is showing to us in Epe Division that we are his first priority and he puts our interests at heart”.
“The school management and the pupils will forever be grateful to him for this laudable work”.
“From the Epe LGEA, we want to show our sincere appreciation for this project. We pray that he reaps the fruits of his labours”.
The Senior Legislative Aide to Rep. Wale Raji, Mr. Mark Osifeko responded that;
“This project is impactful as we can see. The furniture, the marker boards and other facilities here are modern”.
“Rep. Wale Raji being the man of the people is leaving no stone unturned to see that his constituents benefit immensely from his good representation”.
He however called on the stakeholders in the education sector to assist the government in the efforts of bringing good governance to the people.
He urged the sundry to support the school management in fencing the school before encroachment of the school land commences.
Mrs. Akano Adetoun Anifowose, the Headteacher of the school thanked the legislator for taking such a huge step to come up with additional classes for the benefit of the poor pupils.
She also appreciated the support of the Eredo LCDA Chairman for his sleepless efforts to ease teaching and learning processes in the local council.
