The Executive Chairman Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, a beacon of education in Eredo LCDA, celebrating the International Day of Education with remarkable achievements. Under his leadership, a significant stride was made in enhancing the educational infrastructure by providing a standard new block of six classrooms at UPE Primary School, Ajegbende.
Hon. Akinloye's commitment to education extended beyond infrastructure, as his administration distributed written materials to all 18 public primary schools in the local government. This initiative aimed to ensure that students have access to essential learning resources, fostering a conducive environment for education.
Moreover, the Executive Chairman demonstrated his dedication to empowering the youth through scholarships, offering financial support to deserving students. Recognizing the importance of quality teaching, he facilitated the employment of 60 non-pensionable teachers in public primary schools across the local government. This not only addressed the need for qualified educators but also contributed to job creation within the community.
Akinloye's vision for education didn't stop there. Understanding the financial challenges faced by many students, he took a commendable step by providing free JAMB forms. This initiative opened doors for higher education opportunities, breaking down financial barriers and empowering the youth to pursue their academic dreams.
