Today 3rd January 2023 will remain unforgettable in the annals of the history of Raco Orphanage home in Ogun state as Lagos based financial entrepreneur and Chief Executive of LAGOSTREND MEDIA NETWORK Comrade Onyeme Chinedu Godspower stormed their compound to celebrate with the kids.
Comrade Onyeme Chinedu Godspower who is also the founder of LAGOSTREND Foundation, a charity organisation dedicated to giving back to society through education, and social well-being among others came in the retinue of friends and members of the foundation adorned in a specially chosen attire for the ceremony.
The management of the orphanage led by Mr Oludopupo Adesoye received Comrade Onyeme Chinedu Godspower and Onilenla family and they where entourage with dancing and joyful songs. Alhaja Mariam Omobolanle Bajulaiye Shasi welcome address, she pray a prayer of encouragement for the children's and ask them to face there studies so that they can become somebody in future.
She also described the children as a set of people dear to her heart as such she finds it a thing of Joy to be of help to them and other children across the nation.
The ceo of LAGOSTREND MEDIA Comrade Onyeme Chinedu Godspower said the scripture is clear on the relevance of children as contained in Psalms 127:3 which describes them as a heritage of the Lord as a result she encouraged other well-meaning Nigerians to give to children and other downtrodden members of the society.
He said that the Foundation which came into existence in 2022 has charity work as its core mandate. “We want to give back to the society that raised us. We organize this kind of visit once every year. It is always done during the month of December but this year’s own comes in, In January
After the speech, He donated items to the foundation. Some of the items include food items and toiletries.
In his remarks, Mr. Akeem Onilenla thanked the management of the orphanage home for giving them the privilege to visit. He told the children that they can achieve whatever they aim at, including being the governor of a state, only if they are focused on what they are doing. “This place is a starting point for you. I want to see you on television speaking as CEOs, factory owners or even running organisations like this where you give back to society. I want to see these and many more about you in future,” he told them.
Nine-year-old girl among the childrens prayed for the visitors asked God to bless those of them that are not yet married with life partners, bless those seeking for the fruit of the womb with children, provide jobs for the jobless among them, and grant them financial breakthrough and freedom as well as good health.
Children at the orphanage sang and danced with them before rounding up the visit.
