A DESPERATE CRY FOR HELP AND CLAMOUR FOR THE EFFECTIVE RESOLUTION TO
THE UREST, TORTURE, THREAT TO LIFE AND PERSONAL PROPETY AS REGARDS THE
OWNERS, SETTLERS ON THE LAND OF THE EREDO COMMUNITY, PARTICULARY A
CALL FOR THE ARREST OF THE IPO CHIKE, SIRKA Y OLUWO, SOME THUGS LED BY T9
ENITIODUNMO AND OTHER UNKNOWN PERSONS IN THE COMPANY OF ARMED
UNIFORMED MEN WHO SHOT SPORADICALLY AT HON. ADEBOMEHIN ADEYEMI AND
CARTED AWAY HIS VEHICLES AND OTHER VALUABLES.
PROTEST PETITION AGAINST DPO NOFORIJA (USING POLICE UNIFORM FOR
LANDGRABBING), LOCAL VIGILANTE IN EREDO EPE (EMILOJU, MARRY MUWON), SIR
KAY OLUWO, T9 ENITIODUNMI, INSPECTOR CHIKE, BUNMI AND SOME UNKNOWN
POLICE MEN FOR THEIR INCESSANT MALICIOUS PROSECUTION, ARREST,
INCACERATION, SUPPRESSION, AND FRAMING OF CHARGES AGAINST HON.
ADEBOMEHIN ADEYEMI, MATTEW MURTALA, ADEWALE OLAONIPEKUN, ABDUL
WAKEEL ADEGBENRO, AKEEM IYABO, DAMILARE ODUMOSU, BOLA AVENI, KUDIRAT
AROWOLO, OYEBADEJO ORETUGA, HON SAHEED MOSADOLUWA AUDULLAHI (IBILE)
AND OTHERS: A PLEA TO THE OFFICE OF THE INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE TO
TO LOOK INTO AND CURB THE INJUSTICE AND IRREGULARITIES ASSOCIATED WITH
THE MOVE BY THE CP HOMICIDE SECTION OF THE FORCE CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION
DEPARTMENT AREA 10 ABUJA USING ACP KONTAGORA M. BASHIR TO SUBVERT
JUSTICE, AND NEED TO ALLOW UNBIAS TEAMS OF POLICE OFFICERS TO
INVESTIGATE THE MATTERS RELATING TO THE DEATH, KILLINGS, TOTURE, UREST
HAPPENING IN THE EREDO COMMUNITY, EPE, LAGOS STATE

YEBADEJO ORETUGA HON SA

and Lagos State. JI, as members of Epe, Eredo Community,
We urge the National Assembl t Nigeria Police to cond Y O ensure thorough investigation and compel the
unturn to prevent b ~dct themselves diligently and ensure no stone 1s leave
rea own of law and order that ml ght arise from this act.
~e write to intimate you and to urge that you employ and deploy the
implements of your good office as regards the above subject matter and the
general state of unrest experienced by the people of the Eredo Community, Epe,
and Lago~ State. Some thugs led by T9 Enitiodunmo, Sir Kay Oluwo(a notorious
land grabber) and some notorious cult members 'invaded Eredo Community,
t~espassed into the ~arm lands belonging to the indigenes of the town and in a
bid to carry out their land grabbing activities shot sporadically into the air and
they eventually killed the four year old child of one Mr. Kazeem Rahmon which
killing was reported in Newspapers and the autopsy report revealed that a dane
gun was used in inflicting fatal injuries which led to the death of the four year
old, which gun is one normally utilized by local cult members while invading the
land and trespassing into the fields belonging to the members of the Eredo
Community.
Also, the police at Noforija, the DPO in charge of NOFORIJA station, shielded
and colluded with the notorious SIRKAY OLUWO and T9 not to attend the police
interview and matter reported to the State Criminal Investigation Department
(SCID), Panti Adekunle, Lagos State, where all the parties involved were invited
for interview and they were eventually declared wanted and in a bid to avoid
arrest by men and officers of PANTI they ran to Area 10 Abuja for cover and filed
a petition there against the victims of their land grabbing and killing activities
going on in the Eredo community and eventually Area 10 took the case file from
Panti .
Sir, it is however disheartening that a cause of action which originated in Lagos
State, with the parties situated in Lagos State and the land in question in lagos
State, a petition over that same issue is thereafter instituted in Abuja, a matter
hijacked from Lagos for no succinct reasoning and the police force in Abuja
assuming precedence without proper findings and following the trail of events
as unfortunate in this present time. How can certain individuals seize the
functions of the state to further their personal evil. The issue as to the trespass,
land grabbing activities, torture and harassment occasioned on the members of
the Eredo community was rightly interviewed and investigated by the police
force in Lagos, only for the unscrupulous

SPIRl~YFOLUWO, T9 in conjunction with DPO NOFORIJA Epe and Area 10
o 1ce 'd orce . Ab UJa · h ave orchestrated the continuous indiscriminate ' ' arrest of
resi ents m t~e Eredo Community particularly those people whose land SIRKAY
OLUWO ~as interest. They have maimed and arrested the people of Eredo
Commumty on any and unjust fabricated allegations just to detain them unjustly
and frustrate them to giving up their rights to their landed properties, to the
extent that the police division under DPO NOFORIJA has become a camping
ground for detainees unjustly arrested on flimsy grounds on the whims and
caprices of the notorious land grabbers, SIRKA Y OLUWO, T9 Enitiodunmo.
We also tabled a complaint at Zonal Command Office at Onikan, Lagos State on
the irregularities condoned by the DPO Noforija and he was invited at the Zonal
Command Office, Onikan as regards the unlawful detention of some community
members and it was only at that instance that he transferred those detained to
PANTI in a bid to cover his lapses. As regards, the corpses indiscriminately
dropped by SIRKA Y OLUWO and T9 Enitiodunmo, several government agencies
refused to take hold and to look into it, even PANTI division did no investigation
on the cause of death of the unknown corpse and till date the depositing of the
corpse and the suspects attached to same have been left unattended to.
We also like to bring to your notice that the Lagos State had compelled the Local
Government Chairman to produce the local vigilante in Eredo, who were spotted
to be working with SIRKAY OLUWO, T9 and DPO Noforija and when they were
produced, they were detained for police interview and the DPO Noforija went
to the Chairman to compel him to use the FCID Alagbon to arrest our clients
again and when our client were still struggling to save their head, the CP
Homicide, FCID, Abuja now invited our clients through ACP KONTAGORA M.
BASHIR.
Our fears as stated above is that, what is the link between DPO NOFORIJA,
INSPECTOR Chika, Inspector Bunmi, Vigilante Emiloju, Vigilante Warrior, Sir Kay
Oluwo, T9 and others in Eredo Community in Epe? What is their interest, in Eredo
;n Epe? What does Inspector Chika want in Eredo?

Sir, ~ust ~ecen~ly precisely on the 4th and 5th of March 2024, Sir Kay Oluwo, T9 in
co~Ju~ct10n w1th DPO ~OFORIJA, INSPECTOR Chika, Inspector Bunmi, Vigilante
Em1loJ~, V1g1lante Warnor and other police officers stormed the landed property
belongmg_ to_ a bonafide resident of Eredo Community, HON. ADE_BOMEHIN
ADEYE!'AI m s1x patrol vans fully armed and in a hot pursuit in a bid to capture
?~r ~hent, HON. ADEBOMEHIN ADEYEMI who merely escaped after sustaining
mJunes, carted away vehicles belonging to our client and other valuables in
those vehicles; documentations, a huge sum of money delegated for the
development of his property, his original means of identification and electronic
gadgets. Our client was just able to escape untold torture and if possible, a
devastating result on his life. He currently can't access his home and family as
they are currently under serious threat, his vehicles are still in possession of the
above mentioned persons, his means of identification, valuable documents and
gadgets all carted away and his only offence is that he owns and has rightfully
acquired immoveable property in Nigeria, which every Nigerian is
constitutionally entitled to do so. WE CLAMOUR THAT ALL HIS VALUABLES BE
RETURNED AND THE PERPERTRATORS BE BROUGHT TO BOOK. We also state that
if there are any allegations against our client, let the legal channel be followed.
The Police, a statutory establishment also has its processes for investigation and
even for arrest, we urge that it be employed. NO MORE EXTRAJUDICIAL SEIZING
OF LAND AND PROPERTIES AND ARRESTS.
The question we are asking is what is the interest of the police in land
matters and why is the police giving support to notorious land grabbers to
grab peoples land when the matter is even subjudice.
OUR EFFORTS TO SEEK REDRESS
Our clients have made spirited efforts to get DPO NOFORIJA, SIRKAY OLUWO, T9
TAIWO, INSPECTOR CHIKE, SOME KNOWN POLITICIANS UGUSTINA UDOFIA to
desist from sponsoring mayhem in Eredo community in Lagos State by calling
their various cell phones and sending several text messages to them, but all to
no avail, even by filling Fundamental Rights Action restraining them from
threatening the life of our clients. OUR CLIENTS ARE ENTITLED TO RIGHT TO
LIFE.
Despite the above measures to get the deserved peace in Eredo, Epe, Lagos
State, it is clear to us that DPO NOFORIJA, SIRKAY OLUWO, T9 TAIWO
INSPECTOR CHIKE and others will not bulge unless arrested, investigated and
prosecuted for the complicity in land fraud, threat to life, property, unlawful
arrests and detention of our Clients and the members of the Eredo Community
at large.
QUR PRAYERS TO THE OFFICE THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
We hereby summaries our prayers to the Nigerian Police as this Petition is predicated
on the following:
(a) A call for the arrest of SIR KAY OLUWO T9 TAIWO ENITIODUNMI in conj unction with
DPO NOFORIJA (USING POLICE UNIFORM FOR LANDGRABBING), LOCAL VIGILANTE
IN EREDO EPE (EMILOJU, WARRY AND OTHER MEMBERS OF MUWON), ·SIR KAY
OLUWO, T9 TAIWO ENITIODUNMI, INSPECTOR CHIKE, BOSE AND OTHER PERS~NS
AT LARGE for the criminal breach of the public peace, criminal threat to hfe,
indiscriminate breach of the public peace forcible entry, forgery of documents, land
grabbing and other heinous crime against our client HON. ADEBOMEHIN ADEYEMl(of
BOOMELIN VENTURES) as well as the seizure of his vehicles containing a lump sum of
money, important documentation, electronic gadgets and his original means of
identification. (b) A call for the immediate return of the seized vehicles, lump sum of money, electronic
gadgets, original means of identification, important original irretrievable documents
belonging to our Client, HON. ADEBOMEHIN ADEYEMI (of BOOMELIN VENTURES) and an
order restraining the above mentioned from furthering in their acts of threats and
seizures on the life and property of pour client without legal justification and lawful
authority.
(c) To call for the arrest of DPO NOFORIJA (USING POLICE UNIFORM FOR
LANDGRABBING), LOCAL VIGILANTE IN EREDO EPE (EMILOJU, WARRY AND OTHER
