Olu Of Ora Peter Oriyemi Ogungbesan harps on peace, love, understanding among Nigerians during the celebration of Eid-El-Fitri

 

In a statement it released by his media ads, said: “We rejoice with the Muslim faithful in Nigeria on the successful completion of Ramadan. As they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr festival, we call on them to continue to live up to the tenets of their faith through acts of charity, peaceful co-existence with their neighbours and obedience to the injunctions of the Holy Quran”, Globacom said.

In his Sallah message he  stressed the need for people in the state and the entire Nigeria to engage in acts that will straighten peace and unity in the country and ora community 

He said peace remained the most veritable foundation for socio-economic development in the nation, saying that without it, such development will elude the citizens and called on the people to sustain fervent prayers for the prevalence of security, tranquillity and prosperity in the state and nationwide.

He also admonished Nigerians to have hope for a better Nigeria with prayers from both Christians and Muslims.

He  commended that the peaceful co-existence among the various religious bodies in the state, which has paved the way for us in this community 

“Let us take a moment to reflect on the lessons learned throughout the holy month of Ramadan and allow the spirit of Eid to guide our actions towards compassion, kindness, and understanding,” he said.
