Ibeku-Lekki Local Government today convened a Stakeholders' meeting
on the construction of 550 m Oceanside Drive Road in Orimedu . This project is one of the First Phase of 114 Roads project to be embarked upon by the 20 Local Governments and 37 Local Council Development Areas of the State.
The stakeholders meeting which was held at the Road construction site was used as an avenue to intimate the people about the project.
Mayor Olowa emphasised on the need for the people to support the project contractor through out the duration of the project .
On the other hand,02's Development Services of Nigeria while addressing the gathering stated that the project will last for the duration of 6 months starting from Wednesday,15th May, till September,2024 when the laudable project will be completed and delivered.
In the same vain,the Kabiesi of Orimedu expressed his gratitude to the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Olowa led Administration for developmental projects the community has benefitted from in the last 3 years . He admonished the people to support the Government and ensure adequate maintenance of the road when completed
In conclusion , The Council Mayor promised to continue to provide more dividend of Democracy for the people.
Also present at the event were Members of the Legislative Council,
Supervisors,Management, Staff ,APEX Leaders and Members of APC,Youth Representatives amongst others.
