Lagostrend reports that the Acting Provost of Michael Otedola College of Primary Education ( MOCPED),Noforija Kingdom,Epe Division of Lagos State; Dr. ( Mrs. ) Kosoko Oyedeko,has commended the immediate past Provost of the institution,Associate Professor Nosirudeen Olajide Onibon, for transforming the college greatly and working immensely with the current Vice - Chancellor of Lagos State University of Education ( LASUED),to make the university what it is today.
" He has really done well. When he came to MOCPED,we had a lot of challenges,but he was able to solve so many of them. If you come to MOCPED now, you will see different structures. Of course, his predecessors, did so well too,but in his own terms,we witnessed different innovations,technological development. He really tried in terms of human resources,material resources and infrastructural development of the institution. In my own perspective,he is one of the best MOCPED has ever had. Not only MOCPED,because he really tried for LASUED too;himself and the Vice - Chancellor,worked tirelessly to make the newly established university,what it is today. We are very, very proud of him, in both MOCPED and LASUED" She said.
" Right now, he has left here for LASU. I pray to Almighty God, in His infinite mercy to continue to protect,guide and bless him; and uplift him the more,because he is a kind of leaders we want in this country" She prayed.
Meanwhile, the former Acting Deputy Vice - Chancellor,LASUED, Ass. Prof. Onibon, in a brief chat with Alaro Tide,said," I have gotten courage to serve and passion to deliver. So, I have gotten that courage to serve a college I met in crisis,and almost aground; and I thank Almighty Allah,I have brought back life to it ,in a little less than six years. Throughout the years,there was no single crisis from the students,staff; and the physical environment speaks volume of what I have done.
