Suspected gunmen have abducted one Mrs Omotolani Agnes Ogungbesan, the wife of Baale of Ora Kingdom, in Eredo LCDA, Epe Division, Lagos State.
Ogungbesan reported that his christian devoted wife left home for church service on Sunday, 21st of July, 2024.
"My wife was kidnapped by unknown gunmen on her way back home from church at around 2:45pm.
"My wife worship at Apostolic faith Church along Ijebu Ode road, 3minute away from home at Ora community.
"She was reportedly kidnapped at a stone throw to the house by 3men who drove one Toyota big daddy car, red color.
"They dragged my wife down from her Toyota Avalon car where 2 of her children was there with her but they left the children in the car and went away with my wife alone, " Ogungbesan said.
The Baale of Ora Kingdom said that the incident happened about 24hours ago and my wife is yet to be found.
Ogungbesan said that he has reported the case to the Noforija Divisional Police Station, Zone 2, Alagbon and Elemoro Divisional Police Quarters.
“My wife identified as Mrs Omotolani Agnes Ogungbesan was reportedly kidnapped on Sunday by unidentified gunmen on her way home from church.
"I was informed about the ugly incident when the two children left inside the car came home to narrate their ordeal about their mother kidnap, " he said.
Our reporter said that this incident have devastated the husband, High Chief Peter Ogungbesan and he is pleading with the combined security forces to help with the rescue of his wife.
“I can tell you that the husband is no longer himself, the sad incident has really rattled him.
“It is not a palatable situation at all. Members of the Ogungbesan family are all praying that the Almighty God will intervene. They are praying that she should be rescue hale and hearty. This incident is just so absurd and sad.
