Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has expressed his views on the Supreme Court's judgment on local government autonomy, calling it a distraction from the more pressing issues facing the nation. In a video released on Saturday, Makinde emphasized the need to address the underlying problems of productivity, hunger, and anger in Nigeria.
While acknowledging the judgment, Makinde stressed that the country must focus on its core challenges, stating, "We must face the real issues that we have... We are not producing enough. We are not productive." He urged Nigerians to prioritize addressing these fundamental issues to ensure meaningful progress.
