Hon. Princess Surah Animashaun FHTI, the Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, on Friday, praised the youths of Epe for the peace and tranquility witnessed in the face of the ongoing hardship protest currently sweeping through Nigeria.
I particularly commended the youths for yielding to advice and shunning the ongoing protest. This is testament to your being law abiding, perseverance, resilience even as we try to set the country on its right course.
"I appreciate our vibrant youths for their exemplary lifestyle of being civil and hopeful by avoiding protest in any form.
"Indeed, you've shown yourselves to be true "omoluabi."
I can assure that the President is working round the clock to ensure that the economy is viable once again and food becomes cheap. The policies may seem harsh for now but is necessary to guarantee good living condition in the long term.
On my own part, I will, as before, do everything in my capacity to improve the economic well-being of Epe people.
I urge everyone to be vigilant and security conscious while going about their daily activities pending when the protest will end.
