On behalf of the good people of Epe, I Hon. Princess Surah Animashaun FHTI, the Executive Chairman of Epe LGA, congratulate our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, my amiable Governor, H.E Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and the country's leadership in various positions as we celebrate the nation's 64th independence.
Our journey of 64 years has not been without its ups and downs but we are here to celebrate because we are a people resolute in facing our challenges and forging ahead with renewed hope to reach the promise land.
As we move on to the next phase of our nationhood, we must remain united in shunning anti-social, ethno-religious conflicts, and other divisive schemes but channel our gifts, talents, ability and energy towards building the Nigeria of our dreams, where we would see ourselves as one.
My dear Nigerians, we are known for our intelligence, resilience, resourcefulness, confidence and hard work. Let us today take pride in celebrating our dignity, pride and unity in diversity as we confidently look forward to Renewing our Hope for a better Nigeria.
