The event "Ounje Eko" Phase 2 at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Primary Oke Oyinbo Epe Lagos State , hosted by the Supervisor of Agriculture and Vice Chairman of Epe local government commended the Market Leader to Epe local government Mr Balogun Olabode for a successful program with a 25% discount on available food prices.
The initiative aims to alleviate the impact of high food costs in the state and the country. The turnout of prospective buyers was massive, indicating strong public interest.

,this is an initiative and brainchild of our listening Governor, His Excellency Babjide Sanwo-Olu , which is an absolutely laudable scheme aimed at allievate the pains of Lagosians, as it regards the skyrocketing prices of essential food commodities.
The first phase was a tremendous success, & we are extremely grateful to the governor for realizing the need for a continuation of the scheme.
Overall, the discount market has been an impactful success in the lives of Lagosians.
We would like to wholeheartedly thank his excellency for reintroducing & sustaining the Ounje Eko initiative.
The seamless execution of the event and looks forward to continuous improvement in the following weeks. The event is scheduled to run for 8 weeks every Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. The Governor's initiative has been well-received, and buyers are delighted to take advantage of the discounted prices.
