Power Outage: Epe stakeholders working heard to restore light In the community - Alhaji Shakirudeen Akanni Seriki (Bamu

 



Lagostrend reports that the Apashe of Epeland and the Apex leader of the APC in Ep

e Division, Alhaji Shakirudeen Akanni Seriki (Bamu) has expressed his concerns over the current situation in the country calling on all well meaning Nigerians to support the current administration for a better tomorrow.


He said this while answering questions from the newsmen concerning the economic problems and socio-political upheavals in the nation.


In his response to the question on development in the land, he said;


“We need to understand that the nation is not getting better economically. Things are not in the reach of the common man”.


“The president and his team are trying all possible things to make sure that we all have better rewarding future very soon”.


He was asked why he donated a bus to the General Hospital in Epe, he said;


“My intention is to give the downtrodden and the common man in the street of Epe a hope in the health sector prompted my action”.


“The donation came as a succour gesture to support the hospital and make movements in and around the health facility a bit easier”.


He further gave his assurance to the residents of the ancient town of the restoration of electricity in the city very soon.


“We are on the verge of making it real. Hon. Abiodun Tobun, Rep. Wale Raji, Hon. Surah Olayemi Animashaun and myself are very busy putting heads together to see that we achieve this goal”.


“In the nearest future, light will be restored in Epe”.


He therefore advised the youths to keep their hands off dirty and unholy activities which will make them become criminals the more.
