The member representing Epe Constituency I at the Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA), Hon. Musta’in Abiodun Tobun as assured Nigerians of better days ahead.


He mentioned this during an interview session with the newsmen on topical issues in the town recently.


He said;


“Nigeria is sick and obviously going through surgery. You all will agree with me that the country has been in a mess before the president came on board”.


“The theatre is very busy with many activities trying to revive the nation. The country will be better and be on her feet soon”


“I can assure you that the situation will be resolved soon and everybody will laugh in the end”.


He further gave assurances to the residents of Epe that light will be restored to the ancient town very soon.


He said;


“Epe council boss, Hon. Surah Olayemi Animashaun and my humble self have been engaging the management of the IKEDC to ensure that the issue of electricity in the town will be resolved soon”.


“Work is almost complete with the level activities in the sub-station. The workers are working tirelessly for the residents to continue enjoying stable electricity in Epe”.


Answering questions about the forthcoming local government elections and the lobbying activities of some councillors for another term, he declared that;


“It is very likely that elected councillors will want to be elected once again due to some factors and the other”.


“The leaders are in the position to make decisions concerning who should be our flagbearers in the elections. Definitely, not my duty or the duties of any member”.


“What I can say is that everyone willing to aspire for a position has the right to do that”.


The lawmaker asked for the support of the leaders and other stakeholders in this crucial period to make good decisions for the progress of the party and the betterment of all in the community.
