"Epe LG Council Boss Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun Excels Despite Criticism, Backed Strongly by Legislators"

For those who have understanding of how government operates,the word Separation of Power,and what it entails,will not be strange to them. It simply allows  that each arm of government,namely: The Executive,the Legislator and the Judiciary,should  function independently of one another.

However,under Check and Balance,the Legislative arm of government is empowered to monitor and oversee what the Executive does in the overall interests of the citicenry. Alertness is therefore necessary,by the time a Legislator suddenly becomes the mouth-piece or the Outspoken Spokeperson for the man at the helms  of affairs at the Executive level.

This seems to be the case in Epe Local Government,as Legislator,representing Ward A3, in the Epe Local Government,Hon. Oniga Kazeem,has taken it upon himself to keep supporting and protecting the image of the Executive Chairman of the council,Hon.( Princess) Surah Olayemi Animashaun. At different fora,the Lawmaker,has described the Executive Chairman, as a good Performer,who has the love of the good people of Epe at heart. He always says that,she only needs to be supported to achieve more for the people. The Lawmaker,who is a graduate of Mass Communications,from one of the reputable universities in the country,has published many news reports both online and offline in support of the council boss.

Anytime,Hon. Animashaun's performance is being criticized on various Social Media Platforms,at the hottest point of such Criticism, whether viewed as Destructive or Constructive one; Hon. Oniga would not fold his hands and allow the name of the chairman and her administration to be dragged into the mud of failure.He usually  makes a good response in favour of Epe Local Government and the Council boss. He even does this, when Princess Surah,herself, sees such negative media reports or viral social media war against her administration,as what a Dog barks at ,that is not enough for her and members of her cabinet to muse over.

What many people in Epe  now talk about, is that,Hon. Oniga and Princess Surah,have one thing in common,they both believe in oneness of Epe or  that Epe is one entity;as both of them detest Ijebu Epe and Eko Epe Dichotomy; hence, the full support and trust from this Legislator from Ward A3,which comes under Eko Epe classification. Some people even say,if Hon.  Oniga,who openly condemned the immediate past administration of the council as "One Man Show" And could confidently reveal that to the Community Journalists that interviewed him at that time; it means,Hon. Surah,operates all inclusive government,which has continued to foster the collective support for her and her administration in the face of various criticisms.

 

Defending and supporting Hon. Surah,by this Legislator is considered good by many,but it is believed will be better,if the the entire Legislative Arm of the council can intervene  into her performance ,to know whether the criticism is right or wrong,after which they can come up with an official report on her performance.Stating that,by doing this,her critics can be quietened forever ,while her image can be best laundered, before the fast approaching Local Government Election.Noting that, one thing,is for a Political Party to endorse a Candidate for another term, while it is another thing ,for such candidate to be re-elected by the electorates at the poll.
