The Chairmanship Aspirant in the forthcoming Local Government Election in Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area ( LCDA), Hon. ( Chief) Abiodun Adebayo, has called on the good people of the council,to ensure that they make the right choice in the council election coming up this year. He noted that,the council needs a good leader that will project her beyond her locality,but far beyond in terms of development and impacts.
IKOSI- EJINRIN LCDA is a vibrant community with great potentials for growth and development. However, in order to fully harness these potentials, there is a need for strong and visionary leadership that will promote the council beyond grassroots level. This is the sentiment shared by Hon. Abiodun Adebayo, a chairman aspirant who believes that the council requires a leader who can drive progressive change and transformation.
Over the years, IKOSI- EJINRIN LCDA has made some progress in terms of infrastructural development and social amenities. However, there is still much room for improvement, especially in key areas such as healthcare, education, security, and youth empowerment. Hon. Abiodun Adebayo is of the opinion that the council needs a leader who can think beyond the present and envision a brighter future for the community.
One of the key qualities that a leader must possess, according to Hon. Abiodun Adebayo, is the ability to mobilize resources and attract investments that will drive sustainable development in the council. This includes forging partnerships with the private sector, NGOs, and development agencies to bring about meaningful change in the lives of the people.
The Aspirant,who was fielding questions from Journalists at Elejinrin Palace during one of the event organised in commemoration of 80th Birthday Celebration and 20th Year Coronation Anniversary; said,"
My message to our people in Ikosi- Ejinrin LCDA, is that all things and all powers belong to God,and to be candid,God knows the best. What I will just pray for,is that God should choose a very good leader for us,as far as Ikosi- Ejinrin LCDA,is concerned.We want a leader that will promote the LCDA, and put it in the World Map,in terms of advanced development and sustainable impacts . The council doesn't need a push and go leader. I believe with God,all things are possible. God will choose a very good leader for us. Already,We have good hands,all we need to do is to explore the good hands,so that,we can get to our best desired destination.
While talking about Elejinrin of Ejinrin Kingdom,HRM Oba Rafiu Ishola Balogun,he revealed,"
He is a father and a good royal father ,indeed!. He is a charismatic father,that has been doing wonderfully well. All I can wish him,is long life and more prosperity on the throne of his fore-fathers,in good health."

"I want to implore the people of Ejinrin Kingdom, to continue to cooperate with Kabiyesi,who has promoted this kingdom so well.As far as Ikosi-Ejinrin,is concerned,Elejinrin,has promoted our culture,the people and this particular area beyond Lagos State.
