It is with great joy and a deep sense of pride that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to my dear brother and a fellow proud Lagosian of Epe origin, Dr. Hakeem Shittu, on his well-deserved reappointment by Governor Babajide Sanwoolu as the Chairman of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB).

This reappointment is a resounding testament to the remarkable strides recorded during your first tenure, which advanced the basic educational pillar of the transformative THEMES+ agenda of our great state. Under your exceptional leadership, LASUBEB has witnessed transformative progress, and your unwavering commitment to excellence culminated in your well-deserved recognition as the Best SUBEB Chairman in the Southwestern states in 2024 - a milestone that fills every indigene of Epe and Lagosians at large with immense pride.

Of particular note is the fruitful partnership and mutual support between us, which has opened unprecedented doors for educational development across schools and communities within the Epe Federal Constituency. Your dedication to fostering growth in basic education has been a source of inspiration and hope for our children, both present and unborn.

As you embark on this renewed mandate, I urge you not to rest on your oars but to continue raising the bar of transformative leadership. Let this new chapter be marked by innovative policies and programs that will directly impact our children and all basic education stakeholders. There is still much to accomplish, and I am confident in your ability to deliver even more impactful results.
