The Edo State House of Assembly on Monday removed Natasha Osawaru from her position as Minority Leader following a change in the balance of power within the House.
The decision came after four lawmakers from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) moved to the All Progressives Congress (APC) few weeks ago giving the APC majority control.
Natasha who is known for her affairs with Innocent Idibia was not the only PDP lawmaker affected.
Charity Aiguobarueghian lost her role as Majority Leader, while Yekini Idaiye was taken off the position of Chief Whip. Meanwhile, Speaker Blessing Agbebaku and Deputy Speaker Maria Edeko, both PDP members, retained their roles.
