High Chief Peter Oriyomi Ogungbesan the olu Ora of Ora Community who is a devoted Christian did not mince word while encouraging Christian faithful across the globe to continually be the true Ambassadors of Christ in whatever they do especially by demonstrating the Agape kind of love towards all races of humanity as this period of Easter is the time to reassess our daily lives and reflect on the teachings and characteristics of our Lord Jesus Christ, so that we don’t fall short of the standards of the Kingdom of God, which is our ultimate goal as Christians.
In a statement from his media department on Friday, High Chief Peter Oriyomi Ogungbesan also urged Nigerians to remember the sacrifices of men of the nation’s armed forces and security services who constantly put their lives on the line to protect the country.
According to him, “On this day, we choose to remember and celebrate the death and resurrection of the man Jesus Christ; who laid down His life for humanity on the cross of Calvary and changed the course of history.
He conquered death and rose from the grave. Through His priceless sacrifice and precious blood, we can enjoy eternal freedom.
He said “Christ during his life time on earth went all about the places preaching the gospel of repentance, love, forgiveness, charity, peace, and was always seen doing good, healing the sick and loosing the oppressed.
