In a progressive move to further strengthen the educational foundation of Eredo LCDA, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, has presented two mini buses to support student transportation within the local council development area.
The official presentation was made today by the ever-ready and dedicated Vice Chairman, Hon. Lateef Adesanya, who represented the Chairman at the symbolic event.
Lagostrend Report that the first mini bus was presented to the Coordinator of Agric YES, Araga, Prince Adekunle Taiwo. This initiative is in direct response to the ongoing transportation challenges faced by students in the area, where commercial transport is rarely available. With this dedicated school bus, students will now enjoy reliable, safe, and timely access to their academic environment, paving the way for improved attendance and performance.
The second bus was handed over to the Ikeji Ilu of Ilara Kingdom, High Chief Adeoye Balogun, on behalf of the newly established Ilara Model Primary School. The school, located in a still developing area, has experienced logistical difficulties in ensuring early and consistent attendance by pupils. The provision of this bus is therefore a timely and impactful intervention that will help students arrive promptly and ready to learn.
