Oba Shefiu Olatunji Adewale, Olu-Epe of Epe Kingdom, Joins his Ancestors at the age of 87

 

.The Olu Epe of Epe kingdom, HRM Oba Shefiu Olatunji Adewale has passed away this morning

He died at the age of 87years after a brief illness


Lagostrendradiotv reports that the monarch had been crowned king in 2010 after serving as a commissioner in the civil service commission.

Oba Adewale was known for his dedication to the development of Epe Kingdom, earning respect for his wisdom, leadership, and public service.

He’s widely known for his advocacy for peace and consistently emphasizing the importance of unity among the Yoruba natives inhabiting the ancient town of Epe

During his reign he firmly believed that the dichotomy between Ijebus and Ekos was not a subject to be broached.

He will be buried today, Saturday May 31st at his residence in Epe by 4pm
