Nigeria former Governor Stops Locks Lagos Airport Terminal Due To Lateness (VIDEO)

 

A former Governor of Edo State and incumbent Senator, Adams Oshiomhole, has caused a stir at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 1 in Lagos after disrupting operations on Wednesday morning

According to a release issued by a domestic carrier, Air Peace, the airline affected by the incident, Oshiomhole arrived at the airport at approximately 06:10 AM for Flight P47120 scheduled to depart Lagos for Abuja at 06:30 AM.

The boarding process had closed, and the flight departed as scheduled, prompting Oshiomhole to resort to allegedly ‘disrupts’ Lagos Airport.

The senator allegedly physically assaulted Air Peace staff and forcefully barricaded the terminal’s entrance, obstructing other passengers from gaining entry into the terminal.

Air Peace management in its release, strongly condemned Oshiomhole’s ‘unruly conduct’, stating that it maintains a zero-tolerance stance on violence or any form of aggression against its staff and passengers.

The airline statement read “Air Peace strongly condemns the unruly conduct of a prominent Nigerian politician who disrupted airport operations on the morning of Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

The prominent individual in question arrived at Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 1 (Zulu Hall) at approximately 06:10 AM for Flight P47120 scheduled to depart Lagos for Abuja at 06:30 AM. In line with our standard on-time departure policy, the boarding process had closed, and the flight departed as scheduled.
