As part of his oversight responsibilities, the Chairman of the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Physical Planning and Urban Development, Hon. Sylvester Ogunkelu, in company of key government officials, embarked on a site inspection to monitor the progress of critical development projects.
One of the key highlights of the visit was the Alaba Transnational Market, where the Lagos State Government reaffirmed its commitment to prioritizing former occupants in the ongoing shop reallocation process.
Speaking during the inspection, Hon. Ogunkelu assured stakeholders of the Assembly’s unwavering legislative backing to ensure the timely completion of the project. He called on traders and market leaders to continue cooperating with the government for a seamless and inclusive development process.
“As lawmakers, we remain committed to enacting and supporting policies that align with the THEMES agenda of Mr. Governor, aimed at building a Greater Lagos for all,” he stated.
