Recently, Ibeju-Lekki Local Government hosted Local Governments in Epe Division on the World Environmental Day marking the event with the theme “End Plastic Pollution”.
It will also be recalled that the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa charged the participants to ensure that a massive campaign is launched against the use of synthetic polymer.
On Wednesday 18th of June, 2025, the environmental department of the Local Government, took the bulls by the horns as they went all out for the campaign against the use of plastics at the Coastal areas.
