ARIYA EKO is Back and Bigger
The Evergreen Music Heritage Foundation, in proud collaboration with the Lagos State Government through the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, and powered by Evergreen Musical Company Ltd is delighted to announce the 2nd Edition of ARIYA EKO MUSIC FESTIVAL. This years landmark celebration is designed to honour 65 years of Nigerian music and celebrate the nation’s 65th Independence Anniversary.
Following the success of the maiden edition in 2019, which honoured
Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey and other musical pioneers, this
year’s celebration will recognize living music legends — iconic figures
aged 65 and above who have profoundly shaped Nigeria’s soundscape.
This historic event will feature:

– Live Musical Performances
– Archival Exhibitions and Cultural Installations
– Media Documentation and Retrospectives
The forthcoming Ariya Eko Independence Music Festival is scheduled to hold at Shell Hall, MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos.
