LAGOS, NIGERIA – In a grand display of artistic talent, the Office of the Special Adviser on Technical Education, National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), under the leadership of Comr. Ajao Adejoke, held a spectacular National Arts Exhibition on July 25, 2025.
The event, which was graced by the presence of His Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, represented by Hon. Idris Aregbe, Special Assistant on Tourism, Arts, and Culture, was a testament to the creativity and innovation of Nigerian students.
The exhibition hall was abuzz with excitement as students’ artworks were showcased to a packed audience. The artworks, described as “brilliant and unique” by Hon. Idris Aregbe, were a reflection of the boundless talent that Nigerian students possess. His enthusiasm and appreciation for the artworks on display were palpable, and it was evident that he was truly impressed by the caliber of talent on show.
In a glowing tribute, Comr. Ajao Adejoke praised Hon. Idris Aregbe, noting that he is doing better than several commissioners in the state, despite not having the same level of authority. “Hon. Idris Aregbe’s dedication to his role is truly commendable, and his passion for the arts is evident in the way he engaged with the students and their work,” she said.
Comr. Ajao Adejoke, in her remarks, stated that the initiative was aimed at showcasing the talents of Nigerian students to the public and demonstrating that they are indeed the leaders and bright minds of tomorrow.
The event was well-attended by notable dignitaries, including Comr. Abdul Raheem Quadri, NANS JCC Lagos Chairman, and the Dean of the School of Arts and Design, YabaTech.
In a show of appreciation, Comr. Ajao Adejoke thanked all sponsors, particularly Hon. Ajani Owolabi, Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly and Chairman of the House Committee on Tertiary Education, and K2U Puzzles, among others, for their support in making the event a success.
