News: Lady Doja, Former First Lady of Lagos State, Commends Chief Mrs. Bolanle Ogunsanwo for Empowering People of Ilara Through Her Foundation

Ilara, Epe — In a heartwarming display of solidarity and appreciation, Lady Doja, the respected former First Lady of Lagos State, has commended Chief Mrs. Bolanle Ogunsanwo for her unwavering commitment to community development and humanitarian service through her foundation.

Speaking at a recent empowerment event held in Ilara, Epe, Lady Doja praised Chief Mrs. Ogunsanwo for her tireless efforts in uplifting the lives of the people, especially women and youth, through sustainable empowerment initiatives, skill acquisition programs, and welfare support.

“I am deeply inspired by the impact Chief Mrs. Bolanle Ogunsanwo continues to make in the lives of our people,” said Lady Doja. “Her dedication to service, her passion for empowerment, and her love for the Ilara community are truly commendable. She embodies the spirit of true leadership and compassion.”

The Bolanle Ogunsanwo Foundation has in recent years launched several impactful programs ranging from vocational training, small business support, healthcare outreaches, and educational scholarships — all aimed at bridging the socio-economic gap in the region.

Lady Doja called on other well-meaning Nigerians, particularly women in leadership, to emulate the selfless example set by Chief Mrs. Ogunsanwo in bringing meaningful change to their communities.

“Development begins at the grassroots, and Chief Mrs. Ogunsanwo has shown us that with vision and determination, we can create a better future for our people,” she added.

Lady Doja offered strong words of encouragement and responsibility to the beneficiaries of donated materials. Speaking to a crowd filled with excitement and gratitude, she reminded the recipients that the items given to them are intended to improve their lives and should not be sold for short-term gain.

Lady Doja, known for her consistent support for grassroots development and empowerment programs, emphasized the importance of using the materials wisely. “These items have been provided to support your growth, uplift your businesses, and help you become self-reliant,” she stated. “They are not meant to be sold. Please, use them to build something for yourselves and your families.”

The materials distributed ranged from sewing machines and grinding machines to agricultural tools and startup kits for small businesses. The initiative is part of a broader empowerment scheme aimed at reducing poverty and promoting self-sufficiency among women, youth, and vulnerable groups.

Her message was clear: real empowerment comes not just from receiving help, but from using it effectively. “When you make good use of what you’ve been given, you’re not just helping yourself—you’re setting an example for others in your community,” she added.

Lady Doja also urged the beneficiaries to stay committed, be patient, and trust the process of growth. “Success doesn’t happen overnight, but with consistency and the right attitude, the support you have received today can change your life.”

The event ended with loud applause and renewed determination among the beneficiaries, many of whom expressed deep appreciation for both the support and the guidance they received.

The event was attended by dignitaries, community leaders, and beneficiaries who expressed gratitude for the life-changing support offered by the foundation.
