Lagostrend reports that in his goodwill message, High chief Peter Oriyomi Ogungbesan lauded the monarch, who also serves as the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Lagos State Council of Obas and Chiefs, Chairman of the Council of Obas and Chiefs in Epe Division, and Southwest Coordinator of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, for his visionary leadership and selfless service since ascending the throne of his forefathers.
High Chief Ogungbesan lauds the Alara’s visionary leadership, unwavering commitment to the development of Ilara Kingdom, and the promotion of cultural heritage and traditional values over the past five years. He describes Oba Adefehinti as a beacon of unity, peace, and progress within the traditional institution.
In his message, High Chief Ogungbesan states:
“It is with great joy and admiration that I join the good people of Ilara Kingdom, friends, and well-wishers across the country in celebrating this significant milestone. Your reign has brought growth, harmony, and pride to your people. May your leadership continue to be marked by wisdom, strength, and divine guidance.”
As part of his prayerful wishes, High chief Peter Oriyomi Ogungbesan asked that Almighty God, the Olódùmarè continue to bless the Alara with health, wisdom and strength to advance his noble vision for the people of Ilara Kingdom.
He prays for the continued reign of peace, prosperity, and blessings for the Alara, his kingdom, and all the traditional institutions working toward the preservation of culture and unity in Yoruba land and Nigeria at large.
