Ariya Eko 2025 Gets Endorsement from Ebenezer Obey, Kollington Ayinla, Toye Ajagun, Others

Lagostrend report that forthcoming Ariya Eko 2025 has received a major boost as legendary icons of Nigerian music, including Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey, General Kollington Ayinla, and Prince Toye Ajagun, have thrown their weight behind the highly anticipated cultural and entertainment festival.

Speaking on the endorsement, the music veterans expressed their excitement about the initiative, describing Ariya Eko as a unifying platform that celebrates Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage, promotes indigenous sounds, and provides opportunities for both established and emerging talents.

Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey commended the vision behind the project, noting that Ariya Eko serves as a bridge between generations:

“Ariya Eko is not just about music; it is about preserving our identity and showcasing Lagos as the heartbeat of African entertainment. I am proud to be part of it.”

Similarly, General Kollington Ayinla highlighted the importance of sustaining cultural legacies:

“This is the kind of platform that keeps our music, traditions, and artistry alive. Ariya Eko is for the people, and the people must support it.”

Prince Toye Ajagun also reaffirmed his support, stressing that the event will contribute immensely to cultural tourism and youth empowerment in Lagos and Nigeria at large.

The endorsement of these legendary figures comes as preparations intensify for Ariya Eko 2025, which promises an unforgettable lineup of performances, cultural showcases, and creative exhibitions that will project Lagos on the global entertainment map.

With such heavyweight backing, Ariya Eko 2025 is poised to attract massive participation from across the country and beyond, solidifying its place as a premier festival of music, culture, and heritage.

More music giants have endorsed the upcoming Ariya Eko music feast  organised by Evergreen Music Limited.

Among them are veterans like juju legend, Chief Ebenezer Obey; fuji superstar, General Kollington Ayinla; and juju veterans Admiran Dele Abiodun as well as Uncle Toye Ajagun.

The Ariya Eko train energetically  and strategically driven by Evergreen Music Managing Director, Bimbo Esho, alongside popular songbird Yinka Davis,  has visited each of the icons and got their blessings for the event holding in Lgos on October 5.

A celebration of the best of Nigerian music, Ariya Eko is a response to the growing erasure of Lagos-rooted musical legends from public consciousness.

According to Esho, it is driven by the urgency to ensure that these icons are neither forgotten nor relegated to mere footnotes in history. The festival honours those who once shaped our culture with their sound. Through Ariya Eko, these musicians find new life—not just in remembrance, but in active re-engagement with today’s audiences.

Esho

She said: “Ariya Eko serves as both a tribute to the icons of yesteryears and a tool fostering deeper cultural ties, encouraging cross generational dialogue, and opening pathways for international cultural diplomacy.

This year’s Independence edition reinforces the value of indigenous contributions to the national story, amplifying voices that represent strength, pride and resilience.”

At its heart, Ariya Eko is a bridge—between the young and the old, between the local and the global, between memory and innovation. It is a celebration of Lagos, of Nigeria, and of the unyielding power of music to inspire, connect, and transform. As each edition unfolds, it adds a new verse to the enduring song of a people whose story must always be told in rhythm.
