The new monarch of Igbooye Town in Eredo Local Council Development Area, Epe Division, of Lagos State, HRM Oba Abdulrasaq Akanni Musa,the Orijeru of Igbooye Kingdom, has called on all the sons and daughters of the community ,who are either in diaspora or other parts of Lagos State or Nigeria,to return home,in order to contribute their quotas to the development of Igbooye and the empowerment of her people.
Oba Abdulrasaq, made this call, on Friday,February 7,2025,during a Special Jumaat Thanksgiving Service,organised to return all glory to Almighty Allah,for the successful coronation activities of the monarch. At the Jumaat,which took place at Igbooye/Odoyangunshin Central Mosque,Igbooye, he revealed that, himself alone cannot do it; therefore, everyone’s contribution is highly needed.

” I thank all of you for your supports,including Muslim Community,Traditional Chiefs,Baales,ITuns,Family Heads,and everybody. Also I want to implore you to always seek the development of Igbooye and to love one another too” He stressed.
Concerned by the level of development of the Central Mosque,this highly religious Islamic cleric cum traditional ruler,promised to constitute a Fund Raising Committee for the Mosque soon,which will later ,organise a beffiting Fund raising event for the Mosque;through which fund will be garnered for the completion of the Mosque.

Earlier on at the event,the Mufty of Igbooye Land,Alhaji Isiaq Opeyemi Soliu,has issued some advice to the monarch and all indigenes of the community,in order to ensure more peace,harmony,and development of Igbooye. He also offered prayers for the long reign and prosperity of Oba Abdulrasaq,in good health and divine wisdom. His prayers also covered all the components of the community; as donation and photo session brought the Special Jumaat Service to a memorable close.
