The lawmaker representing Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 01 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adewale Temitope Adedeji, OON, has called for greater mobilisation from members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government ahead of the upcoming LG elections later this year.
He made the call during the APC’s monthly LG meeting held on Thursday at the NRC building, urging party members to intensify grassroots engagement and ensure a resounding victory for the party.
Hon. Adewale Temitope emphasised the importance of unity, commitment, and strategic planning in securing electoral success, adding that the APC must consolidate its stronghold in Ifako-Ijaiye.
He also encouraged members to actively participate in voter education and sensitisation efforts to boost turnout on election day.
The lawmaker used the opportunity to drum up support for President Bola Tinubu, saying his policies have started yielding the needed result.
“Our leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu needs our support. We can see that his policies have been yielding results. Things are getting better and it will only get better. So, let’s all rally behind him. Unlike what happened in 2023 when we lost Lagos, we don’t want a repeat of that. So, the work starts now.
“Let’s start attending ward meetings. Let’s start mobilising for the APC and let’s get our PVCs, for those who don’t have. Our goal is to put out record votes in Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government for the APC,” he said.
