Lagostrend report that the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni O, has announced the passing of its Spiritual Father, His Most Eminence, Prophet Emmanuel Alogbo, who died at the age of 93. In a statement released on Thursday by the church’s Secretary-General, Prophet Anthony Olusesan Samaye, the revered cleric passed away peacefully in the early hours of Thursday, July 30, 2026, at his residence in Lagos. According to the statement, Prophet Alogbo breathed his last at approximately 2:10 a.m. while surrounded by members of his family and close associates. The church expressed gratitude to God for the late spiritual leader’s remarkable life of service, describing him as a devoted servant of God who dedicated decades to advancing the Christian faith and impacting countless lives. “With gratitude to God Almighty for a life well spent, on behalf of the Board of Trustees and the entire church, we announce that our Spiritual Father was called to glory in the early hours of today, July 30, 2026, at about 2:10 a.m.,” the statement read. As part of the mourning activities, the church announced that daily prayer sessions will be held for seven days from 5:00 p.m. at his residence, located at Plot 1, Alogbo Close, off Ahmadiyya Bus Stop, Ijaiye-Ojokoro, Lagos. Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.   The church also called on members and well-wishers to remain steadfast in faith during this period of mourning, praying that God grants the departed spiritual father eternal rest and gives the church the strength to bear the loss. Prophet Emmanuel Alogbo was one of Nigeria’s longest-serving church leaders and the head of the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni O. Throughout his years of leadership, he played a pivotal role in the spiritual growth and expansion of the church across Nigeria and beyond. His passing marks the end of an era for the church, as members, clergy, and admirers prepare to honour the legacy of a respected spiritual leader whose impact will be remembered for generations.
