Epe Local Government Launches 2026 Free Summer Coaching Programme for Primary School Pupils
As part of its commitment to improving the quality of education and supporting academic excellence, the Epe Local Government has announced the commencement of the 2026 edition of its annual Free Summer Coaching Programme for primary school pupils across the council area.
The initiative, championed by the Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, FHTI, is designed to keep pupils academically engaged during the long vacation while preparing them for the upcoming academic session.
The free coaching programme is open to pupils in Primary 2 to Primary 6 and will run from Monday, August 3 to Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., every Monday through Thursday.
To ensure easy access for participants, classes will be held at four designated centres across the local government:
- St. Michael Anglican Primary School I
- Luyepo Primary School
- Community Primary School, Erepoto
- St. Theresa’s RCM Primary School, Oke Oyinbo
Parents and guardians have been encouraged to take advantage of the free educational intervention by enrolling their children at the centre closest to them.
According to the council, the annual programme reflects the administration’s unwavering dedication to promoting quality education, strengthening the academic foundation of young learners, and investing in the future of children across Epe Local Government.
The initiative has continued to provide pupils with an opportunity to reinforce classroom learning during the holiday period while equipping them with the knowledge and confidence needed for a successful return to school.
The Epe Local Government reaffirmed that education remains a top priority of the administration of Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, noting that the programme is part of broader efforts aimed at enhancing learning outcomes and creating brighter opportunities for the younger generation.
