Hon. Saliu, Adeniyi Rasaq is the Executive Director of LAGRIDE Nigeria Limited, one of Lagos State’s leading e-hailing and e-taxi companies, where he continues to provide strategic leadership in transforming urban transportation through innovation and excellent service delivery.
A seasoned professional with over 25 years of combined experience spanning insurance, investment banking, entrepreneurship, and politics, Adeniyi Saliu has built a remarkable career defined by integrity, competence, and visionary leadership.
His professional journey began as a Field Officer at Industrial and General Insurance before moving on to serve as Business Manager at Standard Alliance Insurance and later Head of Administration at UBA Insurance. He subsequently joined BGL Securities Limited, one of Nigeria’s foremost investment banking firms, where he rose through the ranks to become Divisional Head of Financial Institutions.
Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, he established Commodities and Financial Services Limited, a company specializing in the trading of bonds, treasury bills, and other financial instruments for investors. He also founded Accentril Global Services Limited, a logistics and courier services company, demonstrating his passion for business development and economic growth.
His commitment to public service saw him elected as the Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), where he served his community with dedication and impactful leadership.
Beyond his executive responsibilities, Hon.Adeniyi Saliu has served on several prestigious corporate boards, including LASACO Assurance Plc, LASACO Trading and Investment Limited, and LASACO Properties Limited, where he served as Board Chairman. He is also a Director at Liquid Crest MicroFinance Bank and the Pioneer Board Chairman of SFL Asset Management Limited.
Academically accomplished, he holds a Master’s Degree in Managerial Psychology and a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Lagos. He is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and a Certified Management Consultant of the Chartered Institute of Management Consultants (CIMC), Canada.
His pursuit of excellence has taken him to some of the world’s most respected institutions. He is an alumnus of Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, and the London School of Management and Leadership (Euromoney), where he received advanced training in Strategic Leadership, Risk Management, and Corporate Governance.
Throughout his distinguished career, Hon.Saliu, Adeniyi Rasaq has participated in numerous local and international training programmes, workshops, and seminars, continually strengthening his expertise and leadership capacity.
