By Richard Emi, ENTERTAINMENT DESK – Popular gospel minister and worship leader, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, is set to make his acting debut in a new faith-based movie titled Beautiful Feet.

According to a post by Pulse Nigeria, the film is scheduled for release in Nigerian cinemas on February 19, 2027.

Bassey, widely known for his soul-lifting worship anthems such as “Imela,” “Onise Iyanu,” and the global prayer movement “Hallelujah Challenge,” will be venturing into Nollywood with this project, marking a new chapter in his ministry and creative career.

Beautiful Feet described as a faith-based movie, is expected to centre on themes of purpose, evangelism and the Christian faith – a message that aligns closely with Bassey’s long-standing ministry of worship and outreach.

While details of his role in the film are yet to be disclosed, the announcement has already generated excitement among fans and members of the Christian community, many of whom have followed his music ministry for over a decade.

If released as scheduled, the February 19, 2027 premiere will add Pastor Bassey to the growing list of gospel ministers exploring Christian filmmaking as a tool for evangelism in Nigeria.
