
The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Professor Folasade T. Ogunsola, OON, FAS, has reaffirmed the University’s commitment to responsible, ethical, and inclusive student leadership, while formally unveiling plans for the revival of the Students’ Union.
Lagostrend report that Professor Ogunsola made this known during the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected Faculty and Departmental Student Executives, a landmark event that underscores UNILAG’s renewed focus on participatory governance and leadership development among students.
Addressing the student leaders, the Vice-Chancellor emphasized the importance of integrity, accountability, and service, noting that leadership is a call to responsibility rather than privilege.
