There was a major political shake-up in Wale Raji Ward (B1) as traditional leaders, political stakeholders, APC women, and youths openly declared their support for Akogun Wale Anomo, while expressing dissatisfaction with the performance of the incumbent Member House of Representatives, Hon. Wale Raji.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement and strong emotions as community leaders and residents voiced their concerns over what they described as years of neglect and lack of meaningful development in Ise community.
Speaking during the gathering, the Youth Leader lamented the poor state of infrastructure in the community, stressing that the people have continued to suffer despite years of representation.
According to him, “There is no standard school in Ise, no functional hospital, and no modern market. Our youths need opportunities, our people need development, and the community deserves better representation.”
Also addressing the crowd, the APC Women Leader expressed disappointment over what she described as unfulfilled expectations from the current representative.
She stated, “Our son is already at the House of Representatives, yet nothing significant has been done for Ise community. Women need a good market, our roads need attention, and the community needs infrastructural development. We don’t want Hon. Wale Raji anymore; we need Akogun Wale Anomo to help develop our community.”
The endorsement of Akogun Wale Anomo by respected traditional leaders, party faithful, women groups, and youths is being described by political observers as a major turning point in the political landscape of the ward ahead of future elections.
Supporters at the event praised Akogun Wale Anomo for his accessibility, grassroots connection, and commitment to community development, noting that his emergence represents renewed hope for the people.
The gathering ended with loud chants of solidarity and overwhelming support for Akogun Wale Anomo as residents vowed to mobilize massively for a new era of progress, empowerment, and infrastructural transformation in Ise and the entire constituency.
