Agege APC Urged to Unite for Victory as Party Faithful Rally Behind Candidates Ahead of Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Agege has been urged to close ranks, embrace reconciliation, and work collectively toward securing victory in the forthcoming elections, following the emergence of the party’s candidates. In a goodwill message titled “The Time for Work Is Now,” party stalwart Omooba Olusegun Adewumi Adepoju called on all APC members to set aside personal grievances, unite behind the party’s decisions, and focus on advancing the progress and development of Agege. He acknowledged that every democratic process naturally produces both winners and disappointed aspirants but stressed that such differences should not weaken the party’s collective strength or electoral chances. According to him, the APC’s greatest asset has always been its unity, emphasizing that members should embrace dialogue, reconciliation, and mutual understanding rather than adopt a “winner takes all” approach. He noted that building an inclusive party where every loyal member has the opportunity to contribute would strengthen the APC and inspire greater commitment among its members. Adepoju also encouraged the party to create room for emerging leaders and fresh ideas, stating that expanding opportunities for dedicated members would enhance the party’s growth and improve service delivery to the people. He appealed to all caucuses, groups, and stakeholders within the APC to put the party’s collective interest above individual ambitions, stressing that unity remains the surest path to electoral success and sustainable development in Agege. He congratulated the party’s candidates, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, APC Candidate for the Agege Federal House of Representatives; Hon. Olugbenga Abiola, APC Candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Agege Constituency I; and Hon. Sakiru Akindele Enimakure, APC Candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Agege Constituency II. Adepoju expressed confidence in their ability to represent the aspirations of the people and wished them wisdom, strength, and success as they prepare for the elections. He concluded by urging all APC faithful to remain steadfast, united, and committed to the party’s vision, expressing optimism that together they can secure victory, strengthen the APC, and deliver greater dividends of democracy to the people of Agege.
