The Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has announced the release of the 2026 Merit Admission List for candidates who participated in the Screening Test into Lagos State Model Colleges and Upgraded Secondary Schools held in May 2026.

According to a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Abisola Dokunmu-Adegbite, successful candidates can begin checking their admission status on the Lagos State Examinations Board portal from Tuesday, July 22, 2026.

The Ministry urged all admitted candidates to visit the portal promptly to confirm their admission status and prepare for the next stage of the admission process.

Parents and guardians of successful candidates are further advised to accompany their wards to their respective schools from Monday, August 31, 2026, to collect admission letters and complete all necessary registration formalities.

The Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education congratulated all successful candidates on their achievement and encouraged them to remain committed to academic excellence as they begin a new phase of their educational journey.

The Ministry also reaffirmed its commitment to providing quality education and ensuring that every qualified student has access to a conducive learning environment in Lagos State Model Colleges and Upgraded Secondary Schools.
