The leadership of the Omo Ekoh Movement in Eredo LCDA has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening grassroots political structures following a strategic courtesy visit by its Local Government Executive Committee and Ward Coordinators to the Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye.

The high-level engagement underscored the movement’s determination to foster unity, political collaboration, and effective grassroots mobilisation across the council area in support of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

During the meeting, members of the delegation discussed strategies aimed at consolidating the party’s presence at the grassroots level, enhancing coordination among ward structures, and ensuring robust mobilisation for all APC candidates across the various wards in Eredo LCDA.

The visit also provided an opportunity for party stakeholders to deliberate on strengthening existing political networks while highlighting the developmental achievements and inclusive leadership style of Hon. Akinloye’s administration. The movement expressed confidence that the council’s developmental initiatives would further inspire public trust and support for the APC.

Speaking during the visit, the leadership of the Omo Ekoh Movement reiterated its unwavering resolve to reach every community within Eredo LCDA through sustained grassroots engagement, political enlightenment, and coordinated mobilisation efforts aimed at ensuring electoral success for the party.

In his response, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye commended the Omo Ekoh Movement for its dedication to promoting the progressive ideals of the APC and its proactive approach to grassroots political organisation. He stressed that a well-coordinated grassroots structure remains the foundation of effective governance, democratic participation, and sustainable political development.

The visit concluded with a renewed commitment from both the council leadership and the Omo Ekoh Movement to continue working together in advancing development, strengthening party unity, and delivering greater dividends of democracy to the people of Eredo LCDA.
