Lagostrend report that  In a fresh demonstration of grassroots mobilisation, youth engagement and commitment to political unity, Prince Olumuyiwa Adeyemi Ogunlari (GentleGiant) has unveiled the SUPER FOUR – Renewed Hope 2027 Football Tournament, an initiative designed to harness the unifying power of football in building stronger grassroots support ahead of the 2027 elections.

The tournament, driven by Team Ogunlari (TOG) in conjunction with the Epe Divisional Football Association (EDFA), seeks to bring together youths, football enthusiasts, grassroots stakeholders and party faithful under one platform of unity, participation and collective purpose.

According to the organisers, the SUPER FOUR tournament goes beyond sporting competition, as it is conceived as a strategic platform for community engagement, youth mobilisation and the promotion of a united support base for the party and its candidates.

The initiative is expected to galvanise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR; Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat; Hon. Wale Raji, MHR; and Hon. Sylvester O. Ogunkelu (Sketel) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Prince Ogunlari, popularly known as GentleGiant, has continued to demonstrate that meaningful political support must extend beyond speeches and declarations to tangible grassroots engagement and activities that bring people together.

The SUPER FOUR tournament is therefore positioned as an avenue to strengthen relationships within communities, encourage youth participation, promote healthy competition and deepen grassroots connections through the shared passion for football.

The organisers emphasised that the initiative represents “mobilisation through unity, grassroots engagement and a shared commitment to victory in 2027.”

With football serving as a powerful bridge across age groups and communities, the tournament is expected to create an atmosphere of friendship, teamwork and collective aspiration while reinforcing the message of political unity and renewed hope.

The organisers further called on youths, football lovers, community leaders, stakeholders and party supporters to embrace the initiative and participate actively in making the SUPER FOUR a successful grassroots engagement platform.
