Family Announced Funeral Arrangements For Late Mrs. Rhoda Ogunlaja

As confirmed to the press by her daughter, Mrs. Beatrice James, and family representatives, the celebration of life in honour of the matriarch of the Ogunlaja family, late Mrs. Rhoda Modupeoluwa Ogunlaja (nee Ajeniya), who died recently, at the age of 102 holds between Friday, 20 and Saturday, 21 November, 2026.

According to a statement issued by the family and made available to the media, stated that service of songs/Christian wake-keep is scheduled for Friday, 20th November, 2026 at her residence, behind former Yemco Hotel, Poka, Epe, Lagos State, from 4 pm prompt.

Funeral service will take place on Saturday, 21st November, 2026 at the Deeper Life Bible Church, Papa, Epe, Lagos, from 10 am. She will be laid to rest thereafter at her residence. While entertainment of guests will hold at the Recreation Ground, Epe.

The late Mrs. Ogunlaja, was a respected and devoted Christian who lived a life of truth, service and commitment to her family. Her passing is undoubtedly a great loss, not only to his immediate family, but also to all those whose lives she touched.
