Mrs. Adetola Toyin Ogunbajo-Hazeez Holds 8th Day Fidau Prayer in Honour of Late Father, Alhaji Abdul-Raheem Owolabi Asekun Ogunbajo
Family members, friends, political associates, community leaders, and well-wishers gathered on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at LG Primary School, Ise, Lekki LCDA, to observe the 8th Day Fidau Prayer in honour of the late Alhaji Abdul-Raheem Owolabi Asekun Ogunbajo, fondly known as Baba Tailor.
The revered patriarch, who passed away at the remarkable age of 110, lived a life marked by integrity, hard work, humility, and unwavering devotion to his family and community. Born in 1916, Baba Tailor left behind a legacy of wisdom, discipline, and selfless service that continues to inspire generations.
The solemn Islamic prayer session brought together clerics who offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul while encouraging the family to uphold the noble values he embodied throughout his lifetime.
Mrs. Adetola Toyin Ogunbajo-Hazeez expressed profound gratitude to everyone who attended the Fidau Prayer and appreciated the overwhelming support, prayers, and words of comfort extended to the Ogunbajo family during their period of mourning.
The event served as a celebration of a life well lived and a reminder of the enduring impact of Baba Tailor’s legacy on his family, friends, and the wider Ise and Lekki communities.
