Hon.RAMAZ Calls for Unity and Collective Support for APC Candidates
Lagostrend report that Hon. Rahmon Azeez Oluwadamilare (RAMAZ) has congratulated all successful candidates who emerged from the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections at various levels, while calling on party members, aspirants, leaders, and supporters to unite and collectively support the party’s candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement, RAMAZ commended the dedication, commitment, and contributions of APC members and aspirants throughout the electoral process, describing their participation as a demonstration of their continued commitment to the growth and success of the party.
He specially congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, APC Presidential Candidate; Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, Governorship Candidate; Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, Senatorial Candidate for Lagos East Senatorial District; Hon. Prince Bayo Balogun, House of Representatives Candidate for Ibeju-Lekki Federal Constituency; Engr. Abiola Okanlawon Olowu, Lagos State House of Assembly Candidate for Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I; and Hon. Oladele Ajayi, candidate for Ibeju-Lekki Constituency II.
RAMAZ urged all contestants and aspirants who participated in the primary elections, as well as their supporters, to put aside disagreements and personal interests that may have emerged during the process and rally behind the candidates chosen by the party.
“The time has come to unite, reconcile, and move forward as one family. Our strength lies in our unity.”
According to him, the forthcoming campaign season should be characterised by peace, issue-based engagement, mutual respect, and a strong focus on the needs and aspirations of the people.
He expressed confidence that a united APC would be better positioned to communicate the achievements and vision of the party while promoting progressive governance and sustainable development across Lagos State and Nigeria.
The Ibeju-Lekki APC chieftain also appealed to eligible voters to obtain and safeguard their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs), describing the PVC as a critical instrument through which citizens can participate meaningfully in determining the future of their communities and the country.
He called on APC supporters to work collectively in support of the party’s candidates, from the Presidency and Governorship to the Lagos East Senatorial District, Ibeju-Lekki Federal Constituency, and the Lagos State House of Assembly Constituencies I and II.
RAMAZ concluded by urging party members to embrace unity, understanding, commitment, and reconciliation, noting that collective effort remains essential to achieving electoral success and advancing the interests of the people.
