Just In: Odo Egiri Muslim Community Mourns Chief Imam of Iraye Oke, Prays for Eternal Repose
Lagostrend report that the Baba Adinni of Odo Egiri Muslim Community, Alhaji Chief Abdul Waheed Agbolade Ogunnorin, alongside the entire Muslim community of Odo Egiri, has expressed heartfelt condolences to the Muslim Ummah of Iraye Oke over the passing of the Chief Imam of Iraye Oke, Alhaji Imam Moshood Adekunle Salaam.
In a condolence message, Alhaji Chief Abdul Waheed Agbolade Ogunnorin described the death of the respected Islamic scholar as a painful loss to the Iraye Oke Muslim Community and the wider Muslim Ummah.
He extended his sympathies to the family of the deceased, the leadership and members of the Iraye Oke Muslim Community, praying that Allah gives everyone affected by the loss the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He further prayed that Allah, in His infinite mercy, accept Alhaji Imam Moshood Adekunle Salaam’s return to his Creator, forgive his shortcomings, illuminate and widen his grave, and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
The Baba Adinni also prayed for continued peace, unity and strength for the Iraye Oke Muslim Community and the entire Ummah during this difficult period.
“May Allah accept his homecoming, make his grave a garden of light and mercy, and grant the family, the community and the entire Ummah the strength to bear this great loss. Ameen.”
The Odo Egiri Muslim Community stands in solidarity with the people of Iraye Oke and the family of the late Chief Imam at this solemn moment, praying for Allah’s mercy, comfort and eternal reward for the departed.
