  An Awujale royal son, Prince Oladapo Oluwatosin Ayodele Osunsanya, has advocated for the Ijebu traditional stool to continue standing as a beacon of cultural pride, economic strength, unity, and modern governance in Ijebuland and beyond. Prince Oladapo Osunsanya is of the Tunwase-Oduba Royal Family, tracing his lineage through the Fusenguwa Ruling House—one of the officially recognized ruling houses of Ijebuland. He is also a direct descendant of Awujale Adesimbo Tunwase, further reinforcing his deep-rooted connection to the Ijebu monarchy.
