    Odo-Egiri Town Hall was filled with solemn dignity and deep respect as Alhaji Olusesi Azeez joined family members, traditional rulers, community leaders, and well-wishers to bid a final farewell to his father-in-law, the late Aare Ona Kakanfo of Odo-Egiri Kingdom, High Chief Samoti Folarin.

    The well-attended ceremony celebrated a life of courage, leadership, and unwavering service to the Odo-Egiri Kingdom. Tributes poured in from far and near, reflecting the profound impact High Chief Samoti Folarin had on the cultural heritage, peace, and development of his community.     Odo-Egiri, Ogun State — The Odo-Egiri Town Hall was filled with heartfelt emotions and deep respect as Alhaji Olusesi Azeez led family members, traditional leaders, community elders, and well-wishers to bid a final farewell to his father-in-law, the late Aare Ona Kakanfo of Odo-Egiri Kingdom, High Chief Samoti Folarin.

    The ceremony celebrated the life and legacy of a revered traditional title holder known for his humility, wisdom, and love for humanity. Attendees described the late High Chief as a peace-loving leader who related with everyone irrespective of status, leaving behind a legacy of unity and service to the Odo-Egiri community.

    Speaking with Lagostrend, Mrs. Olusesi, daughter of the late High Chief, paid glowing tribute to her father, describing him as a great man who respected everyone he encountered.

    > “My father was a great man who respected everybody he came across. He advised me and my husband a lot. I will really miss him,” she said, fighting back tears.

     

    Guests at the event also spoke warmly about the late Aare Ona Kakanfo. In an interview with Lagostrend, one of the high-ranking chiefs described High Chief Samoti Folarin as a kind-hearted leader who genuinely loved his people.

    > “High Chief Samoti Folarin was a good man who loved everyone. The entire Odo-Egiri community will miss him greatly. May God guide and protect the children he left behind,” the guest prayed.
