Odo-Egiri, Ogun State — The Odo-Egiri Town Hall was filled with heartfelt emotions and deep respect as Alhaji Olusesi Azeez led family members, traditional leaders, community elders, and well-wishers to bid a final farewell to his father-in-law, the late Aare Ona Kakanfo of Odo-Egiri Kingdom, High Chief Samoti Folarin.
The ceremony celebrated the life and legacy of a revered traditional title holder known for his humility, wisdom, and love for humanity. Attendees described the late High Chief as a peace-loving leader who related with everyone irrespective of status, leaving behind a legacy of unity and service to the Odo-Egiri community.
Speaking with Lagostrend, Mrs. Olusesi, daughter of the late High Chief, paid glowing tribute to her father, describing him as a great man who respected everyone he encountered.
> “My father was a great man who respected everybody he came across. He advised me and my husband a lot. I will really miss him,” she said, fighting back tears.
