
The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Friday welcomed the President of Rotary International, Francesco Arezzo, and his wife, Anna Maria Arezzo, on a courtesy visit to Lagos House, Marina.
The visit provided an opportunity for a thoughtful and productive conversation centered on service, partnership, and the type of community impact that brings meaningful and lasting change to people’s lives.
Governor Sanwo-Olu commended Rotary International for its consistent humanitarian efforts across Lagos and beyond, particularly in areas such as health, education, water and sanitation, and community development. He noted that Rotary’s dedication to service aligns strongly with the development priorities of the Lagos State Government.
“Progress is strongest when we all work together,” the Governor stated, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between government and service organizations in addressing societal challenges and improving the quality of life for residents.
