The Presidency has firmly debunked circulating rumours alleging that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu narrowly escaped a food poisoning incident involving one of his chefs.

In a statement released to address the growing speculation, officials described the claim as entirely false, misleading, and without any factual basis. The Presidency reassured Nigerians that there was no such incident and that President Tinubu remains in good health while continuing to carry out his official duties without interruption.

The statement emphasized that security and safety protocols surrounding the President are among the most stringent in the country, covering all aspects of his welfare, including food preparation and service. These protocols are consistently reviewed and upheld to ensure the highest standards of safety.

The Presidency urged members of the public and media organizations to verify information from credible and official sources before sharing or publishing unconfirmed reports capable of causing unnecessary anxiety.

President Tinubu remains focused on delivering on his administration’s mandate, advancing national development, strengthening security, and improving the well-being of all Nigerians.

Citizens have also continued to express prayers and goodwill for the President’s continued health and protection.
